M11 northbound between junctions 11 and 12 – bridge joint repairs

 Dear Customer

I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out urgent bridge joint repairs on the M11 northbound between junctions 11 and 12. This will ensure the M11 continues to remain in a safe and serviceable condition.

We plan to complete this work over five nights between Monday 30 September and Saturday 5 October 2024. We will work between 9pm and 6am on weeknights only, weather permitting.

Closures and diversions

To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the M11 between junctions 11 and 12, and divert traffic as follows:

• Traffic will be diverted off the M11 at junction 11 and follow the A10 towards Royston, the A505, then the A1198, and A603 before rejoining the M11 at junction 12.
