Dear Resident,
Following recent reports of high value jewellery thefts, here’s a few quick tips on how to protect your home:
- Install CCTV or a video doorbell
- Lock garden gates when you’re away
- Add outdoor sensor lights for visibility
- Use timers for indoor lights to make it look lived-in
- Consider a certified burglar alarm
Look out for your neighbours and report anything suspicious.
If something doesn’t seem right, then it probably isn’t, call the police on 101 or if you believe a crime is taking place, always call 999.
