The Local Authority have issued some new guidance in light of the emergence of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19, and there are several measures which we need to ask people to take in order to protect our community as much as possible:

  • All adults and secondary school students are requested to undertake an LFD test prior to attending the event. (This requirement includes stallholders, FOBS members, volunteers and staff).
  • All attendees over the age of 11 will be asked to wear face coverings.

Hand sanitisers will be placed around the stalls, and visitors will be encouraged to sanitise their hands regularly. We will also have an enhanced cleaning regime in place for locations which are regularly touched.

There will be no stalls where close contact or sharing of resources is required, and to avoid clusters of large groups, we would ask that only one family member queues at the cafe to purchase food/drinks.
