Bonfire Out of Control in Barton

The Fire Brigade were called out to Barton yesterday to control a bonfire on Wimpole Road that was spreading to a field.

As a reminder, we should not be having bonfires if at all possible and certainly not during the day and certainly not now. Fields, scrub and woods are still very dry.

Residents often complain about bonfires. Washing drying, sitting outside, smoke entering through windows that are open, impact on asthma suffers. We should all be more considerate to our neighbours.
