80th VE Day STREET PARTY REMINDER

Quick note that we are ready to welcome all to our indoor/outdoor Street Party. We have marquees set up at The Hoops and the Village Hall is open. Rain or shine our Street Party is ready.

 

Saturday, 7th June as Barton comes together for a joyous street party to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day!

All villagers are warmly invited to a ‘bring and share’ celebration along School Lane from 12pm onwards. The road will be closed and beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming space for everyone to gather, share food, and enjoy the festivities.

A limited number of tables and chairs will be provided, so if you’re able to bring portable ones, please do! The Hoops is kindly supporting the occasion, offering space in the garden for picnicking (please note that all drinks in the pub area must be purchased from The Hoops).
