Ultrafast broadband is being rolled out across the country with main players such as Openreach and small players such as County Broadband installing full fibre into villages nearby. Currently there is no one committed to providing full fibre in Barton. All companies need a minimum number of customers in each community for commitment. For example, County Broadband require 25% of households to sign up before going ahead with installation.
If you are interested in full fibre (fibre into the house), we suggest that you register interest with companies that are installing full fibre. The more people that do so, the more likely that an installer will focus on Barton.
Also look out for Gigabyte voucher scheme. This is a Government scheme providing help for installation costs. My understanding is that vouchers can be pulled to support installation in villages.
