Keeping Pavements Clear

First of all thank you to residents who are cutting hedges and overgrowth encroaching on paths, cyclepaths and pavements. These need to be kept clear for pedestrians, cyclists and, especially for pushchairs, prams and wheel chair users. We would also advise motorists to park on the road rather than on pavements or cyclepaths. Many think that parking off the road keeps the roads clear, but forget that the priority should be for pedestrians and cyclists. See Living Streets website.
