Fancy Dress & Crowns

As part of our Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, we asking residents who want to decorate their houses, gardens or fronts to focus on a crown theme.

Have a look at wikipedia  for inspiration and a history of crowns. St Edward’s Crown has been used for coronations since the 13th century and was used for the Queen’s coronation in 1953.

 

There will also be a fancy dress parade on 4th June at the recreation ground celebrations. The theme is royal.
